The Role

• Advise on public finance aspects of tax exempt bond issuances for complex real estate and infrastructure projects
• Serve as bond counsel, issuer counsel or company counsel on significant tax incentive transactions
• Draft and negotiate financing documents, incentives agreements and related disclosure materials
• Partner closely with the real estate team on bonds for title and PILOT structures
• Maintain and grow client relationships through direct contact, responsive advice and clear communication

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a

mid to senior level Real Estate Public Finance Associate or Senior Associate

with:

• At least 3 years of post qualification experience in public finance
• Hands on experience with tax exempt bond issuances and tax incentive transactions
• Background acting as bond counsel, issuer counsel or company counsel on public finance matters
• Excellent academic credentials from a law school typically ranked in the top 50
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills and willingness to be based in Dallas
