PAY RANGE: $2300 - $2391 / Weekly

Job Summary

We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Department (ED) assignment. You will assess and care for patients with urgent and complex needs, coordinate with the clinical team, and adapt to established workflows in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, and prioritize care through triage.
• Administer medications and IV infusions; support IV insertion, phlebotomy, specimen collection, airway management, and acute pain management within scope and protocol.
• Assist with emergency procedures, including suturing and catheterization, and provide critical care response as needed.
• Document care accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as Epic or Cerner, while protecting patient privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Coordinate diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning with physicians and other care professionals.

Experience

• Nursing experience in emergency medicine, an emergency room, acute care, or a hospital is essential; critical care, trauma, or Level I/II trauma center experience is valuable.
• Current registered nurse licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are expected. Additional emergency response credentials may be preferred.
• Demonstrated patient assessment, medication administration, IV insertion, infection control, and medical documentation skills are important.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, including Epic or Cerner, is preferred. Other relevant experience may include urgent care, telemetry, intensive care, pediatrics, or medical-surgical nursing.
• Apply clinical judgment, clear communication, and flexibility while caring for patients across varied needs and acuity levels.

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,391.00 per week
