Location: Silverdale, WA 98383

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department in Silverdale, Washington. Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a larger trauma setting will be considered.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in patient assessment, emergency interventions, and managing patients with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on the urgency of their conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient status.
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist physicians with emergency procedures and interventions.
• Recognize and respond promptly to critical and life-threatening situations.
• Perform neurological assessments and monitor patients for signs of stroke or other neurological changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Follow emergency department protocols, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Required Certifications

• ACLS – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• PALS – Required
• TNCC – Required

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a larger trauma setting – Required for consideration
• Strong patient assessment and triage skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to recognize and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shift Type: 12-Hour Nights
