Neuro Trauma MedSurg RN

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients with complex neurological and trauma conditions in a fast-paced MedSurg setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed neuro assessments and monitor patient condition closely
• Administer medications and IV therapies per clinical orders
• Monitor telemetry and track vital trends
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care from admission through discharge
• Educate patients and families and support informed care decisions
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and maintain a team-based approach

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse with experience in MedSurg and comfort caring for neuro/trauma patients
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
• Proficient medication administration, IV therapy, and telemetry/vitals monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
• Clear communication and patient/family education skills
