About the Role:

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst II in Torrance, CA. Acting as a strategic business partner, you will lead financial planning, variance analysis, and forecasting across assigned Business Units, advising leadership on capital investments and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the preparation and submission of 6 corporate budgeting and forecasting cycles per year.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly budget-versus-actual variance analyses for executive management.
• Partner with operational leadership to evaluate financial implications of business investments and expenses.
• Review complex month-end close transactions and journal entries in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Create high-impact executive presentations delivering actionable strategic financial guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience (or Associate with 7+ years).
• 5+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting experience (automotive preferred).
• Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial modeling techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (specifically BPC module) and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional executive communication, business acumen, and stakeholder advisory skills.
