Staff Machine Learning Engineer - VoIP Infrastructure

Job Description

Galliot is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to develop intelligent systems for voice communication infrastructure. This role combines machine learning expertise with telecommunications engineering to improve call quality, system reliability, and automated voice processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning solutions for VoIP systems
• Develop models for voice analytics and communication optimization
• Improve call quality, latency, and system performance
• Collaborate with infrastructure and software engineering teams
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production ML systems
• Evaluate model performance and recommend technical improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering
• Strong Python programming and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, or telecommunications systems
• Experience deploying scalable production services
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
