About this role

About The Role

The role owns end-to-end UX design for a core product surface - from early research and problem framing through flows, wireframes, and polished, developer-ready design specs in Figma.

The work sits at the intersection of design and data: every major decision is validated with usability testing, analytics, and direct user feedback, not opinions. The designer joining this team will shape how thousands of users interact with the product every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own design for a product area end-to-end: discovery, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and clickable prototypes in Figma
  • Plan and run usability studies - moderated and unmoderated - synthesize findings, and translate them into prioritized design recommendations
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to scope features, challenge assumptions, and cut scope without cutting user value
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and efficient handoff to engineering
  • Validate designs post-launch using product analytics (Amplitude or similar), A/B tests, and session replays to measure real impact
  • Present design rationale to leadership and stakeholders with clear narratives backed by research and data
  • Document design decisions, edge cases, and interaction specs so engineering teams can build without ambiguity

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–6 years of UX design experience shipping digital products, ideally SaaS or consumer-facing applications
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, variables, and component-driven design systems
  • Hands-on experience conducting usability testing and synthesizing qualitative research into actionable design changes
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating measurable outcomes - not just polished screens - with clear problem framing and iteration
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive/web and mobile interaction patterns
  • Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bonus: experience with design tokens, front-end literacy (HTML/CSS basics), motion design, or user research operations (Reframer, Dovetail)
