Job description
About this role
About The Role
The role owns the day-to-day systems and programs that keep a fast-growing team running: onboarding, HRIS data integrity, benefits administration, and the policies behind them. This is a hands-on operations role for someone who treats people processes like products — measurable, documented, and continuously improved.
The position sits at the intersection of people, finance, and IT, and reports into a lean People team. The impact is direct: every new hire's first week, every benefits enrollment, and every compliance deadline runs through work this role owns.
Key Responsibilities
- Own onboarding end-to-end: pre-boarding communication, Day 1 logistics, equipment handoff coordination with IT, and 30/60/90 check-in programs
- Administer the HRIS (Rippling, BambooHR, or similar): maintain employee records, run lifecycle workflows, and audit data quality monthly
- Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment cycles, and employee questions in partnership with brokers and vendors
- Support performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and headcount planning in Greenhouse, Lattice, or comparable tools
- Maintain compliance across I-9/E-Verify, multi-state employment requirements, and required reporting
- Build and document people-ops processes and policies, turning one-off requests into scalable systems
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on payroll, benefits, policies, and time off
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of people operations, HR generalist, or HR coordinator experience, ideally in a high-growth technology environment
- Hands-on HRIS administration experience (Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, or Gusto) including workflow and report building
- Working knowledge of multi-state employment compliance, I-9/E-Verify, and benefits administration
- Comfortable with ATS and performance tooling (Greenhouse, Lever, Lattice, or similar)
- Strong written communication and a track record of building clean documentation
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience supporting international hiring or EOR platforms (Deel, Remote); HRIS migration experience; people analytics in SQL or Looker
