About this role

The Experience

As Regional Vice President of Sales, you’ll lead a high-performing Marketing Cloud sales team supporting some of Salesforce’s most strategic East Coast commercial Financial Services accounts. You’ll develop talented Account Executives, deepen executive relationships, and drive growth across existing customers and new logos.

This role combines the complexity of strategic, enterprise-style selling with the pace and execution discipline of a commercial business.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, building the skills and accountability needed to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Guide the team in creating and executing account strategies that balance complex, strategic opportunities with shorter-cycle transactions across existing customers and new logos.
  • Own the team’s business results, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts through disciplined opportunity inspection and deal management.
  • Build sufficient, high-quality pipeline through prospecting into new logos and account expansion
  • Partner closely with core account teams, other Salesforce clouds, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success to align account priorities and deliver compelling customer outcomes.
  • Engage CMOs and other senior executives with a clear perspective on how marketing, data, and AI can improve customer engagement and drive measurable business value in Financial Services.
  • Recruit and retain strong talent while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture where people can grow and do their best work.

You're Our Person If...

  • You've successfully led a team of quota-carrying Account Executives, with a demonstrated record of delivering results and developing talent.
  • You can balance complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with faster-moving opportunities to deliver consistent performance.
  • You’re a hands-on coach who helps sellers sharpen discovery, articulate value, build executive relationships, and advance deals.
  • You bring strong business judgment and a disciplined approach to forecasting, pipeline generation, and sales execution.
  • You work effectively across internal sales teams and functions, building alignment around shared customer and business goals.
  • You can engage senior executives, connect technology investments to business priorities, and help your team do the same.
  • You create a collaborative, inclusive, and energizing culture with clear expectations, candid feedback, and accountability.

Even Better If...

  • Experience selling into Financial Services and understand the industry’s customer engagement priorities and operating environment.
  • Experience in marketing technology, advertising technology, or customer engagement platforms.
  • You’ve worked across both commercial and enterprise sales organizations.
  • You’ve led within a matrixed sales organization with shared account ownership.
