About this role
Procurement M&A Integration Manager As a Procurement M&A Integration Manager, you will drive the strategic alignment and consolidation of suppliers and purchasing activity between Salesforce and our acquired companies. Salesforce is a highly acquisitive company, using M&A as a tool for revenue growth, market expansion, and as a strategy for building a highly connected and comprehensive enterprise architecture.
The end-to-end integration is data driven and you will use AI and your analytical skills to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation to drive savings and efficiency. You will also focus on continuous improvement to evolve and streamline the integration strategy and process based on lessons learned and AI-powered innovation.
This is a highly cross-functional role within Procurement and the Finance organization, as well as with Real Estate, IT, Technology & Products, Marketing, Legal and Security. This role will work out of the office in a hybrid schedule three days a week.
Your Impact
Success will be measured by your ability to execute the procurement integration strategy and minimize disruption of service and work. Communication, engagement, and alignment with your stakeholders are key. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead small to medium sized procurement integrations from start-to-finish, while concurrently supporting larger acquisitions
- Manage master supplier sheets and transition tracking across multiple concurrent M&A deals, ensuring data quality and completeness.
- Drive, enable, and track supplier and agreement onboarding into S360/MyProcurementCenter, including agreement uploads and contract repository management
- Identify shared and net new suppliers between the companies, and determine appropriate transition plans and actions in partnership with the acquired company and internal teams.
- Drive supplier transitions by working with the acquired company, Salesforce functional leads, Procurement Operations, Legal, and Strategic Sourcing teams and ensure work is funneled appropriately to the correct teams.
- Manage the transition of Contingent Workers to Salesforce programs.
- Manage status reports and related communications to stakeholders.
- Manage the tracking of synergy targets consistent with the deal model.
- Respond quickly to service or business disruption to get back on track.
- Support hypercare periods and manage cutover communications as acquired suppliers transition to standard Salesforce processes
- Provide ad hoc training and enablement for new employees and business partners on interim and end-state procurement workflows to make the integration as seamless as possible for acquired employees
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve the M&A integration process through AI, automation, and simplification
- Own at least one measurable AI-driven improvement per integration cycle (e.g., automated supplier matching, synergy tracking, contract intake) that reduces cycle time or manual effort, reinvesting the capacity gained into faster deal integration, directly advancing COFO's Innovation and Operational Excellence priorities.
