About this role

About the company and project

Marfields Group is developing St. Regis Residences Limassol, a luxury branded development in Cyprus valued at around €400 million. The project covers two buildings with approximately 250 residences and premium offices, and is at its earliest stage, before excavation.

Marfields Group is building its own in-house construction team, and quality control is central to meeting St. Regis standards.

The role

The QA/QC Manager runs quality assurance and quality control across the project, ensuring works meet specifications, ISO standards and St. Regis brand requirements.

  • Team: starts as a single role, with a QA/QC team to be built as the project grows
  • Location: on-site in Limassol, Cyprus

Key responsibilities

  • Run the project's QA/QC system: inspection and test plans, checklists, procedures and records.
  • Carry out and coordinate inspections of materials and works at every construction stage.
  • Identify non-conformities, manage corrective actions and track them to closure.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier quality against specifications and ISO requirements.
  • Improve quality processes as the project scales, and build the QA/QC team over time.
  • Report on quality performance to the Project Director.

Requirements

Essential

  • 8+ years in construction QA/QC, including at least 3 years in a QA/QC lead or manager role.
  • Hands-on experience running and improving a QA/QC system on residential or commercial construction projects.
  • Practical experience with ISO 9001.
  • Experience with inspection and test plans, checklists and non-conformity management.
  • Fluent English and Russian.
  • Degree in civil engineering or a related field.

Desirable

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Experience implementing a QA/QC system from scratch.
  • Experience on luxury residential or high-end hospitality projects.

What we offer

  • Contract: permanent Cyprus employment contract with social insurance and access to the National Health System (GeSY).
  • Tax: eligible employees on salaries above €55,000 may benefit from Cyprus's 50% income tax exemption.
  • Relocation: flight tickets, help finding accommodation plus the first month's accommodation, and work visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens.
  • Company car with fuel.
  • Working hours: on-site 7 AM–4 PM or 8 AM–5 PM by agreement.

Hiring process

  • Pre-screening interview with the recruitment partner.
  • First interview with Demetra Loizidou and the relevant C-level executive.
  • Final interview with the Managing Director (Owner).
