About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design and build the infrastructure and architecture behind its AI/ML platform. You will work with large document collections containing varied encoded rules, developing systems that can ingest, process, and interpret this information accurately and consistently.

Working across frontend and backend teams, you will help develop machine learning models, integrate Generative AI into production pipelines, and build evaluation frameworks to measure and improve performance. The role requires strong Python skills, substantial AI/ML infrastructure experience, and the ability to develop scalable solutions for technically complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and interpretation.
• Architect reliable systems that handle different encoded rules while maintaining accuracy and compliance in AI/ML outputs.
• Develop machine learning models, particularly those involving knowledge graphs, to improve the interpretation of complex datasets.
• Build evaluation frameworks to assess model performance and use feedback and results to guide improvements.
• Apply expertise in Generative AI (GAI) to inform the development and ongoing improvement of AI/ML solutions.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into existing and new machine learning pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend engineering teams to support rapid development, iteration, and deployment of AI solutions.
• Use version control systems such as GitHub to manage code repositories and maintain code quality standards.
• Design and implement scalable technical solutions to address complex engineering challenges.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in machine learning and software development, with a focus on AI/ML infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in Generative AI (GAI).
• Expert-level proficiency in Python.
• Experience collaborating across programming languages and managing codebases.
• Strong experience with modern version control systems, such as GitHub.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning model development, evaluation, and iterative improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to architect and implement scalable solutions for complex problems.
• Location and Work Arrangement Fully remote position.
• Salary and Benefits Annual base salary ranges from $180,000 to $225,000, depending on skills and experience.
