About the Role

Scaled Agile is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build, optimize, and maintain high-performing web applications integrated with headless content management systems. You will work with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to turn designs into responsive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences.

Working closely with designers, marketers, and developers, you will help define requirements, deliver new features, improve existing applications, and contribute to the technical direction of the company’s digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Integrate and extend Contentstack and other headless CMS platforms through APIs.
  • Translate design concepts into responsive, accessible, and high-performing web experiences.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver new features.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, refactor existing code, and reduce technical debt.
  • Maintain developer documentation and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and digital products.
  • Support application releases through code reviews, testing in staging environments, and coordination of production deployments.
  • Use performance, accessibility, and analytics insights to identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with React and Next.js, along with proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with headless CMS platforms; Contentstack experience is preferred, and WordPress familiarity is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Vercel or similar deployment platforms.
  • Experience with Git, branching strategies, CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and release testing.
  • Experience using Figma and collaborating with design teams.
  • Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and analytics tools such as PostHog and Google Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and application structure.
  • Ability to investigate problems independently, recommend solutions, and execute tasks with limited oversight.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Adaptability when priorities change, with the ability to balance strategic projects and urgent requests.
  • Commitment to writing clean, documented, maintainable code and continuously improving technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining and improving large, complex web applications over time.
  • Strong perspectives on information architecture and effective application design.
  • Experience balancing requirements and priorities across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • A track record of taking projects from initial concept through development and deployment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The starting base salary range is $100,000–$135,000, plus bonus and equity.
  • Compensation depends on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and certifications.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, optional pet insurance and other optional insurance products, a 401(k) plan with company match, flexible paid time off, and a company-paid sabbatical after six years of service.
  • Work Environment This is a remote-first role within a globally distributed team, with opportunities to connect in person.
  • The company also maintains a Boulder office as a resource for employees.
