About this role
Silver Lands is hiring a full-time, mid-level graphic designer in Lehi, UT, to create social media images, investor decks, and marketing materials that shape how investors see the company. This is an internal, investor-facing role: your work goes to current and prospective investors.
You will own the visual side of investor communication, from a single polished social graphic to a full investor presentation, and keep every piece consistent with the Silver Lands brand.
Key responsibilities
The role splits into four main areas: social media design, investor presentations and collateral, photo and video editing, and brand upkeep.
- Social media graphics: Design static images and carousels for investor-focused channels such as LinkedIn and Instagram, covering market updates, property highlights, company milestones, and announcements.
- Investor decks: Build and polish presentation decks, including capital-raise and deal decks, recurring investor updates, and monthly reporting, turning financial data into clear charts and layouts.
- Investor relations collateral: Create one-pagers, deal summaries, case studies, brochures, and email and newsletter graphics that match the Silver Lands brand.
- Photo and video editing: Retouch and color-correct property and team photography, and edit short videos such as property tours, update recaps, and leadership messages.
- Motion graphics: Produce short animated assets, such as animated social posts, title cards, and animated data callouts.
- Brand and template ownership: Maintain the brand guide, reusable deck and social templates, and the shared asset library so any team member can produce on-brand work.
- Collaboration and review: Work directly with leadership and the investor relations team, take feedback quickly, check every number against its source, and apply compliance or legal edits before anything is sent to investors.
- Workflow: Manage several projects at once, hit recurring monthly deadlines, and flag requests early when timelines are tight.
Qualifications
The right candidate has 3-5 years of professional design experience and a portfolio that shows polished, presentation-grade work, not only social posts.
- 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in-house or at an agency serving finance, real estate, or other investor-facing clients.
- A portfolio with at least three strong examples of multi-page decks or reports, plus social media graphics.
- Expert use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and strong PowerPoint or Keynote skills, including building clean master slides and templates.
- Working skill in photo retouching and video editing (Premiere Pro or similar), and in motion graphics (After Effects or similar) for short social clips.
- Strong typography, layout, and color sense, with the ability to design from an existing brand guide.
- Comfort turning numbers, tables, and performance data into clear charts and visuals without distorting them.
- Attention to detail: every figure, name, and date is correct before it leaves your desk.
- Clear written communication and the ability to take direct feedback from executives and iterate fast.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves and what success looks like
These skills are not required, but each makes the hire stronger:
- Experience designing for real estate, private equity, or other investment audiences.
- Awareness of how investor communications are reviewed for compliance, so claims and performance figures are presented carefully.
- Familiarity with Figma or Canva for fast, template-based social work, and with AI-assisted design tools used responsibly.
- Basic email or web design skills, such as newsletters or simple landing pages.
