Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to support revenue accounting, month-end close, SOX compliance, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of ASC 606, NetSuite, and advanced Excel, along with the ability to manage audit-ready documentation and collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate, audit-ready SOX control workpapers.
• Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations in NetSuite.
• Prepare revenue contract summaries in accordance with ASC 606.
• Support collections forecasting, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting.
• Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly financial reporting and audits.
• Participate in UAT, post-launch validations, and revenue accounting projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve billing and Order-to-Cash processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and SOX compliance.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and advanced Excel.
• Experience preparing audit-ready SOX control workpapers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Big 4 accounting experience and CPA certification.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in Palo Alto, CA.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
