Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR and payroll functions for a multi-entity organization.
• Manage full-cycle payroll, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and reporting.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, performance management, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and leave policies.
• Partner with executive leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and retention.
• Improve HR processes, policies, and internal controls.

Requirements

• 7+ years of HR leadership experience

with hands-on payroll responsibilities.

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong California employment law and employee relations knowledge.
• Experience with multi-site or multi-entity organizations.
• Paylocity preferred.
• Prevailing wage and certified payroll experience a plus.
• Transportation, trucking, logistics, or industrial industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or HR certification a plus.
