User Experience (UX) Designer

We are looking for an experienced User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a design specialist with a strong command of Figma and a proven ability to create intuitive, visually effective digital experiences. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience and can translate user needs, brand goals, and product requirements into thoughtful design solutions.

Experience supporting pharmaceutical or direct-to-consumer environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs for digital products using Figma and related design tools.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to turn business goals, user insights, and technical constraints into effective experience design solutions.
• Develop and refine visual assets and interface components using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe XD where needed.
• Contribute to design validation efforts by incorporating feedback, reviewing user behavior, and supporting A/B testing initiatives to improve experience performance.
• Ensure consistency across digital touchpoints by aligning design work with brand standards, usability principles, and accessibility expectations.
• Work within Agile Scrum teams to support iterative delivery, communicate design rationale, and adapt solutions as project priorities evolve.
• Collaborate with developers to help translate approved designs into responsive experiences that consider CSS and platform requirements, including web and mobile environments.
• Apply industry knowledge to projects in regulated or consumer-facing settings, including pharmaceutical or direct-to-consumer initiatives when applicable.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or a closely related field.
• Strong expertise in Figma, including creation of wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe XD.
• Understanding of digital design best practices, usability principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile Scrum environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, brand-focused design, and experience optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of responsive design considerations and the ability to work alongside development teams using CSS-informed design approaches.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or direct-to-consumer design environments is a plus.
