Corporate Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading digital procurement network and solutions provider for the foodservice industry, is seeking a Corporate Counsel with 2-4+ years of experience to join their growing in-house legal team in Chicago. Candidates must have prior experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS agreements.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate commercial agreements across DPN, SaaS, Supply Chain, Consulting, and ancillary foodservice verticals Serve as a primary day-to-day legal point of contact for assigned contract types and business units, partnering with sales, product, and operations to keep deals moving and aligned to business objectives Identify and mitigate legal risk in commercial transactions, developing negotiation positions that protect the Company while supporting business objectives Support improvements to contract management processes, including adoption of new technology and template standardization Contribute revisions to standard contract templates, tailored to the distinct needs of each business unit, under the direction of the Associate General Counsel and General Counsel Stay current on regulations affecting the DPN, SaaS, and foodservice sectors, and ensure agreements comply with relevant laws and industry practice Build capability in adjacent areas over time, including privacy matters, litigation support, and our active M&A pipeline, with supervision and support from senior counsel Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $150,000 - $170,000 Bonus: 15% annual bonus target Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA plans, 401(k) + 4% match, Life Insurance, Disability, unlimited PTO, and more Flexible Hybrid WFH schedule : 2 days WFH per week For consideration, email your resume to justin.rambert@roberthalf.com Robert Half utilize our proprietary AI to match jobs & candidates faster
