Job description

About this role

About Raveum

Raveum is an Austin fintech at 600 Congress Ave. We build the operating platform for US commercial real estate sponsors: the firms that find, run and syndicate net lease, self-storage, multifamily and other income-producing commercial deals. We closed our seed round and are building our go-to-market team now.

Most sponsors run their business on four to six separate vendors: a portal, a document vendor, a fund administrator, a tax preparer and outside filing help. Our Sponsor Portal replaces that patchwork with one platform, one contract and one invoice.

About the role

You will sell Raveum Sponsor Portal subscriptions to real estate sponsors. You sell to the sponsor's principals and operations leads.

The portal gives sponsors one place to run their deals: a branded investor portal, deal management, documents, investor reporting, and legal, accounting and tax support.

Your job is to win new sponsor accounts and grow the ones we have. You report directly to our Founder and CEO, Kabir Israni.

What you'll do

First 30 days

  • Learn the product and how sponsors run a deal today.
  • Shadow live discovery calls and demos, then run your own.
  • Work the existing pipeline of sponsors already talking to us.

Ongoing

  • Own the full cycle: discovery call, demo, Order Form, signature.
  • Run a two-call sale: discovery, then demo and contract.
  • Keep the CRM clean and forecast honestly every week.
  • Tell us what sponsors ask for and what loses deals, so the sales playbook and product get sharper.

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • 1 to 3 years closing B2B SaaS deals, with quota numbers you can show us. You hit 100% or more of quota in at least two of your last four quarters.
  • You have owned the full cycle yourself: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation and a signed annual contract.
  • You have sold to owners, principals or finance leaders at small and mid-sized firms, where the person you pitch is the person who signs.
  • You build your own pipeline. Cold calls, email and LinkedIn outreach are part of your week, not a fallback.
  • You learn a complex product fast and explain it in plain English. Our buyers deal with legal, accounting and tax work every day.
  • Your writing is sharp. Sponsors judge you on every email and follow-up.
  • You run your deals in a CRM and keep it accurate without being chased.
  • You can work in person at our downtown Austin office five days a week, plus a half day from home on the sixth day.
  • Authorization to work in the US.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling to real estate operators, property managers, fund administrators, accountants or law firms.
  • Familiarity with how syndications work: sponsors, K-1s, Form D.
  • Proptech, CRE tech or fintech sales experience.
  • Experience as an early sales hire at a seed or Series A startup.

Compensation

  • Base: $60,000.
  • Commission: 10% of first-year subscription value on every sponsor you close, rising to 15% above quota. Uncapped. Paid monthly.

Why join now

  • Get in early. We just closed our seed round and are building global operations. You join while the team is small, and every deal you close moves the whole company forward.
  • Grow with the company. At a startup there are no layers between your results and the people who notice them. What you learn and prove here shapes how our sales team is built.
  • Start with warm pipeline. Sponsors are already in conversation with us, and a telecaller books discovery calls onto your calendar.
  • Sell a pain that is easy to explain. Sponsors juggle four to six vendors to run one deal. You sell them one platform, one contract and one invoice.
  • Uncapped upside. You sell subscriptions, and your commission rises to 15% on everything above quota, with no cap.
  • Sell next to the founder. Decisions happen in the room, not in a queue, and you see how a fintech company is built from the inside.

Pay: $57,700.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Application Question(s):

  • Can you work in person at our office at 600 Congress Ave, Austin, five days a week, plus a half day from home on the sixth day?
  • Are you authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship?
  • How many months have you carried a closing quota in a B2B SaaS role, and what was your attainment in your most recent full year?
  • Have you personally closed annual (12-month or longer) B2B software contracts?
  • Roughly what share of the deals you closed last year came from pipeline you sourced yourself?
  • Who was the typical buyer and signer on your deals (for example owner, founder, CFO, operations lead)?
  • In three sentences, tell a busy real estate sponsor why they should run their deals on one platform instead of four to six vendors.
  • Share a link to a 60 to 90 second video introducing yourself: who you are, the deal you are proudest of, and why this role. Record it on any app (Loom, your phone, YouTube unlisted, Google Drive) and make sure the link opens without a login.
