About this role
Help shape how Publix associates learn, lead, and succeed. Our Education and Training Development (ETD) team creates and delivers learning experiences that support associates at every level of Publix, from on-the-job training for retail associates and technical and operational training for managers to leadership development for our company’s executives.
The team also delivers technical, general management, leadership, and cultural change training and helps prepare associates and leaders for the implementation of innovations across Publix.
As a Senior Instructional and Curriculum Designer, you’ll play an important role in this work by partnering with business areas across Publix to transform complex needs into impactful reference, training, and leadership development solutions. You’ll guide large-scale learning initiatives and develop solutions that create consistency, strengthen performance, and prepare associates and leaders for what’s next.
If you’re energized by solving complex problems, collaborating across the organization, and creating learning experiences with far-reaching impact, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference at Publix.
Responsibilities include:
- leading, defining, and conducting the work required for performance or training needs analysis
- planning, managing, and coordinating complex training programs and projects, including project teams, schedules, reference and training deliverables, and day-to-day deadlines
- managing training curricula across a range of programs, including hourly job-class training, management operational training, onboarding, and formal leadership development, ensuring continued business alignment, maintenance, and evaluation
- designing and overseeing the development of educationally sound training solutions
- evaluating training deliverables to measure effectiveness and ensure alignment with business operations and strategic objectives
