Position Summary

The Staff Accountant supports accurate financial reporting, general ledger integrity, and timely monthly close activities for the Finance team. The role works with colleagues across Finance and manufacturing operations to resolve accounting questions and maintain dependable records.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations; investigate and resolve reconciling items.

· Prepare and post journal entries; support month-end and year-end close.

· Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting schedules.

· Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and variance research.

· Prepare supporting information for internal and external audits.

· Collaborate with Finance and plant teams to resolve accounting questions and improve reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree (four-year) in Accounting.

· At least three years of relevant accounting experience.

· Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work onsite in Hayward, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Sage accounting software.

· Multilingual communication skills.

· CPA, CMA, or MBA.

· Experience in manufacturing, plastics, or oil and gas.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
