Registered Nurse PCU

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Rochester, New York. This position offers 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The unit features 12 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience and be comfortable working weekends on an every-other-weekend schedule. Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. Key responsibilities include managing patients with conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory needs including BiPAP and high-flow oxygen, ventilator and trach care, sepsis, and ETOH withdrawal.

RNs must demonstrate competency in phlebotomy, IV placement, and operation of CADDS and PCA pumps. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Join a dynamic team where your skills in patient care and clinical expertise will be highly valued.
