Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery position in Rochester, NY. This travel contract offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with 12-hour shifts primarily during the day (7a-7p), alternating with nights (7p-7a). The position requires weekend availability every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

No on-call duties are required. The role involves assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating during C-sections, and managing postpartum care. Candidates must be skilled in administering magnesium sulfate therapy, performing APGAR scoring, and utilizing advanced fetal monitoring equipment such as EFM and IUPC.

Experience with EPIC charting is required. Additional certifications such as OB-ACLS or ACLS, BLS, EFM, and NRP are mandatory. You will join a dedicated team that provides care for pregnant patients at all gestational stages, as well as postpartum patients within six weeks of delivery.

The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art monitors, wireless fetal monitoring, and advanced newborn care equipment. Floating within your skillset may be required. Scrubs are hospital-provided for convenience.
