Acute Care Occupational Therapist

Travel Allied Occupational Therapist (OT) provides occupational therapy services in acute care settings nationwide. You will perform OT evaluations, create and implement evidence-based treatment plans , and support safe discharge planning in fast-paced hospital environments.

Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized therapy goals Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and ADLs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Document evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in an EMR system Educate patients and families on functional recovery, coping strategies, and ADL performance Contribute to discharge readiness and patient safety through coordinated care Qualifications include competency in acute care OT practice, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
