Product Owner

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Product Manager, Product Owner, or Finance Systems/BSA experience
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes:

o Revenue Billing

o Invoicing

o Cash Application

o Accounts Receivable

o Collections

• Experience supporting finance, accounting, or ERP-related systems
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Jira experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with custom-built financial applications
• SAP knowledge and ERP exposure
• Media & Entertainment or Talent Agency experience
• Experience with organizations such as WME, CAA, or UTA
• Familiarity with .NET-based applications

Job Description

A large client in the talent agency/entertainment space is looking for a Product Manager to support a portfolio of custom finance applications focused on revenue billing, invoicing, cash application, and broader order-to-cash processes.

This individual will serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams, partnering closely with Controllers, Finance leaders, and technical resources to drive enhancements, prioritize backlogs, and deliver solutions that improve critical financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for finance applications
• Partner with Finance Controllers, Accounting leaders, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
• Drive roadmap planning, enhancements, and production support initiatives
• Coordinate with internal development teams and SAP partners
• Manage work intake and delivery through Jira
• Improve revenue billing, invoicing, cash application, AR, and collections workflows
