Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients using RN standards of practice and clinical judgment
• Monitor telemetry data, interpret rhythm strips, respond to alarms, and escalate clinical concerns as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; coordinate with unit staff and physicians
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; educate patients and families about telemetry monitoring and care
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the specified electronic medical record system

Requirements

• License: MO or Compact RN license; BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: 1+ year of Telemetry RN experience
• Education: BSN preferred; new graduates not accepted
• Clinical: Ability to work in a hospital telemetry unit; comfortable with 12-hour day shifts
• EMR: Proficiency with Altera Sunrise (Allscripts) is not required; training will be provided
