Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult Med Surg patients, including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT/vascular.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage IV therapies; monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions; document findings per orders.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments; develop and update nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document all nursing care and clinical observations in EPIC; ensure accuracy and timely charting.
• Monitor patient safety, infection control, pain management, wound care, and participate in discharge planning; coordinate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.

Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license; Nursys license verification.
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg RN experience.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Graduation from an accredited RN program (ASN or BSN).
• Profile must include resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, and Nursys verification; include demographic info and badge photo.
• No time-off requests (RTO) accepted for this assignment.
