Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ functional status and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, balance, strength, and endurance.
• Reassess progress, document outcomes, and update goals; maintain accurate records per regulatory and facility standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, including nursing, therapy colleagues, social work, and therapy aides.
• Contribute to discharge planning and transitions of care for residents returning to home or other settings.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with applicable regulations during therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the United States as applicable to the state of practice.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate) per standard professional requirements.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to work in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to travel for a 13-week assignment and to work a 32-hour minimum weekly schedule.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
