Technical Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive complex, high-impact engineering programs across multiple teams. This role is ideal for a technically strong program leader who can operate independently, engage deeply with engineering and architecture teams, and translate complex technical initiatives into clear, achievable execution plans.

Drive end-to-end engineering program delivery, which enables digital payment credentials for mobile and e-commerce. Focus on modernizing monolithic platforms into reusable microservices, coordinating engineering teams, managing risks and dependencies, and delivering scalable, cloud-based software solutions.

Day-to-Day

• Lead technical programs across multiple engineering teams and projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and mitigate risks.
• Plan and track Agile delivery using Scrum/Kanban, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams on cloud platforms and technical implementation.
• Track milestones, program metrics, team performance, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, and outcomes to technical teams and executives.
• Drive alignment, accountability, and timely, high-quality delivery.

Nice-to-Have

• Payments, digital payments, or financial services experience.
• Microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Cloud infrastructure, IaaS/PaaS, and serverless technologies.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• NoSQL databases.
• Legacy/monolithic application modernization into reusable services.
• Data-driven engineering performance improvement.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical program delivery experience, including exposure to software development and/or testing.

Ideal Background

• Senior Technical Program Manager experienced in complex, multi-team software engineering programs.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and scalable software architecture.
• Proficiency in Agile, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and delivery metrics.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, product, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Ideally, experience with payments technology and monolith-to-microservices modernization.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the hourly range for this position is $60–$65/hour on W2.
