Job Description

G2 Software Systems, Inc. is seeking motivated Software Developers at Level I and Level II to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Candidates will contribute to software engineering projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities and technical expectations will vary according to experience level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Assist with software architecture, implementation, and integration.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement requirements.
• Support application enhancements, system updates, and performance improvements.
• Follow established coding standards, security practices, and development procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals, data structures, and software development principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems and software testing practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript, depending on project requirements.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and application integration.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and continuous integration tools.
• Experience with secure software development or enterprise applications.
