Job description
About this role
About The Role
The Product Manager owns the roadmap for core platform features spanning data ingestion, API integrations, and customer-facing analytics - translating ambiguous business problems into a prioritized, shipped product backlog.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, design, and go-to-market, and matters because it defines what gets built next in a product that thousands of enterprise users touch daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, sequence, and maintain a quarterly product roadmap aligned to revenue targets and platform architecture constraints
- Write crisp PRDs and acceptance criteria for features spanning APIs, data pipelines, and web-based analytics dashboards
- Partner daily with engineering leads to scope work, break epics into shippable increments, and make tradeoff calls on technical debt vs. feature velocity
- Run discovery with customers and internal stakeholders - interviews, usage analysis in Amplitude, and competitive teardowns - to validate problem definition before writing a line of requirements
- Instrument and own product metrics (activation, retention, feature adoption), reporting weekly and driving experimentation via A/B tests
- Lead launch execution end-to-end: beta programs, release plans, enablement for sales and support, and post-launch iteration
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly to executive leadership; escalate blockers early and own the 'why' behind every prioritization decision
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning a technical or data-focused product
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with engineers on technical topics - APIs, databases, integration patterns - without a translator
- Strong analytical skills: SQL proficiency and hands-on comfort with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Track record of shipping complex features from discovery through launch in an agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent written communication - PRDs, roadmap narratives, and exec updates that are clear and concise
- Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS, developer-facing products, or a background in software engineering or data analysis
