About this role
About The Role
The role owns the infrastructure that keeps production systems running: Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and the observability stack that detects problems before customers do.
You will work closely with software engineers and platform architects to make deployments safer, systems more resilient, and infrastructure costs more predictable — this is a hands-on role where your changes ship to production every week.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure across AWS (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, VPC networking) supporting production workloads at scale Develop and harden CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, enabling safe, frequent deploys with automated canary analysis and rollback Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm, enforcing review workflows and drift detection across environments Build and operate observability tooling — Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog — with actionable SLOs, alerting thresholds, and on-call runbooks Lead incident response and blameless postmortems for production incidents; drive remediation work to reduce recurring failures and MTTR Optimize cloud spend by rightsizing workloads, implementing autoscaling policies, and eliminating orphaned resources Improve security posture through secrets management (Vault), IAM least-privilege policies, and automated vulnerability patching What We Are Looking For 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years operating production Kubernetes environments Deep hands-on expertise with AWS core services (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC) and Terraform in production Strong scripting and automation skills in Python or Bash; comfort building internal tooling, not just consuming it Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux) and modern CI/CD pipeline design Solid grasp of Linux internals, networking (DNS, TLS, load balancing), and container runtime fundamentals Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), chaos engineering practices, multi-region failover design, or FinOps tooling
