Big data can quickly become overwhelming, inaccessible, and noisy. EpochGeo’s cutting edge scalable storage, data accessibility, and visualization platforms have overcome big data’s barriers to allow access to analysts and data scientists alike.
Our agile team of developers, analysts, and data scientists leverages innovative technology to transform complex data into actionable insights, empowering our partners to make confident, data-informed decisions.

- Education or experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architecture.
- Familiarity with applying machine learning and statistical methods to complex problem sets that resulted in successful outcomes.
- Experience working with geospatial data, geospatial analytics, and related tools or libraries.
- Prior experience in the IC, geospatial analysis, or data engineering is highly desirable.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborating with analyst teams to understand their problem sets and identifying workflows for automation and opportunities to integrate machine learning algorithms and data engineering solutions at scale against big data architectures.
- Conceiving and constructing working prototypes and first-of-their-kind proof of concepts to push the art of the possible against real-world national security problem sets.
- Designing, executing, and refining robust Python scripts, complex SQL queries, and data pipelines to support analytics and operational reporting.
- Building and tuning models and tools to solve customer challenges.
- Working in a dynamic environment with ever-evolving requirements.
Bonus:
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Geography, or a similar field.
- Experience with geospatial data integration and DoD/IC operational workflows.
- Security+ or CISSP certification.
Additional:
- Must hold a TS/SCI clearance and be willing to submit for a CI Poly.
