Mid/Senior Software Developer (TS/SCI Clearance)

EpochGeo is looking for a Mid-Senior level Software Developer to support an innovative and exciting office that is rooted in data rich projects in the national security space.

Location-based big data can be overwhelming, inaccessible, and noisy. EpochGeo is a data services firm specializing in supporting the full spectrum data cycle: beginning with scalable data storage, building algorithms or workflows, and ending with impactful analytics.

Our developers, analysts, and data scientists have a proven track record applying open-source innovative technology, data science, and actionable analytics to inform customers’ data driven decisions.

Your background likely includes:

• 4 - 8+ years of software development or related experience.
• Education or military experience in Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics.
• Collaboration with backend developers, designers, and product managers in agile environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Python, SQL, and agentic AI tools (Codex, Cursor, etc)

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker, Helm
• Knowledge of Trino, Spark, Airflow
• Familiarity with React, Node.js

What you will be doing:

• Collaborating with Analysts, Data Scientists, and backend developers to build custom intuitive interfaces.
• Developing and maintaining user-facing software features and applications.
• Identifying bugs and optimizing performance and accessibility of user interfaces.
• Using tools like Git or CI/CD pipelines to deploy updates.
• Documenting code, workflows, and decisions to maintain clarity in the project.

Additional

Must hold a TS/SCI clearance and be willing to submit for a CI Poly

Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
