Electrical Engineer

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics for precision measurement products. This role works closely with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, board bring-up, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. This position will work closely with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and supplier teams throughout the full product development lifecycle and will report to a senior member of the electrical engineering team

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCB layouts and support board bring-up and testing.
• Develop electronics involving motion controls, microcontrollers, displays, and USB/UART/CAN communications.
• Troubleshoot and validate analog/digital circuits and electrical subsystems.
• Support cable harness design and system integration.
• Partner with manufacturing on electronics integration and production issues.
• Create design documentation, test procedures, and work instructions.
• Support regulatory and EMC/EMI compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical design experience, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with analog and digital circuits
• Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs.
• Experience with Python/MATLAB, C/C++, Verilog/VHDL, or high-speed digital design is a plus.
• Regulated product development experience is preferred
