We are partnered with a global technology manufacturer seeking a
Product Manager, VFD
to lead the North American strategy, growth, and lifecycle management of a portfolio focused on power conversion and thermal management technologies.
This role will drive product vision, roadmap development, market expansion, and go-to-market execution while serving as the subject matter expert for customers, sales teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen and a passion for bringing innovative products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategy, vision, and long-term growth plans.
- Own the North American product roadmap, including new product introductions, pricing, lifecycle management, and end-of-life planning.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer initiatives to identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive business development efforts, generate market opportunities, and support lead generation activities.
- Create sales enablement tools, training materials, and go-to-market programs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure successful product execution.
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities to strengthen the product ecosystem.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and relevant organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience within power electronics, thermal management, automation, or related industrial technologies.
- Strong understanding of technologies such as:
+ AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion
+ Battery charging systems and motor drives
+ Thermal management solutions, fans, pumps, and liquid cooling systems
- Experience developing product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Strong market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
- Comfortable presenting to customers and industry stakeholders.
- Ability to travel approximately 20-30%.
