Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

• Hourly Rate: $56.34/hour
• Weekly Gross: $2,028.24 (Based on 36 hours/week)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Psychiatric Care Unit in Mason City, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have experience providing compassionate mental health nursing care while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Assess, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively
• Coordinate care among physicians, therapists, case managers, and nursing staff
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Support patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health conditions
• Participate in patient evaluations and treatment planning
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to facility policies

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 Years of RN Experience
• Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Nursing Experience Preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced psychiatric care environment
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
