Job Overview

Join our nursing team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and deliver attentive, evidence-informed care across patient needs and care settings. You’ll assess patients, coordinate treatment, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.

Duties

• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, recognize changes, and escalate concerns, including during emergency response.
• Administer medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) infusions; perform IV insertion, catheter care, tube feeding, and other nursing procedures within your scope.
• Document assessments, care plans, treatments, and outcomes in electronic medical or health record (EMR/EHR) systems while protecting confidentiality under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Coordinate triage, diagnostic evaluation, infection control, pain management, case management, and discharge planning with the care team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, medication, nutrition, and ongoing care needs.

Experience

• Required: Current Registered Nurse licensure for the applicable jurisdiction, sound patient assessment and medication-administration skills, and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Preferred: Experience in patient care settings such as acute care, hospital, clinic, emergency, intensive care, medical-surgical, primary care, geriatrics, long-term care, home care, hospice, pediatrics, or behavioral health.
• Relevant strengths may include Epic or Cerner, EMR/EHR documentation, basic life support, aseptic technique, phlebotomy, venipuncture, telemetry, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Additional experience in dialysis, labor and delivery, trauma, ophthalmology, occupational health, assisted living, memory care, or developmental-disability services is valued.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
