Rocket Radio is seeking a General Sales Manager. We’re looking for a local dynamic sales professional passionate about radio sales & marketing.

The GSM will be responsible for coaching and developing the sales team

We are Rocket Radio. We have been providing quality radio broadcasting in Apache Junction, Mesa, Gilbert, and surrounding areas for 15 years. Our AM & FM stations help businesses generate more revenue and get more customers.

As a Rocket Radio management team member, you will help build and develop a sales team that builds customer relationships with owners and managers of small businesses. You will be introducing our company and its services.

You will be incorporating a proven marketing system.

Benefits

We offer one of the most generous performance-based compensation packages in the industry. The annual compensation range for this position in the first-year is $60,000-$75,000.

Position Overview:

• Lead, coach, and inspire the sales organization to achieve and surpass total local revenue, digital revenue, new-business, and account-growth goals.
• Lead sales meetings, one-on-one coaching, account strategy sessions, client presentations, and market sales initiatives.
• You will be handling, prospecting, and developing new customer relationships.
• Meet daily call goals and weekly appointment goals following a proven system.
• Have strong telephone, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Great at following up with potential clients.
• You have a computer, internet access, and phone service.

Experience

• Three years’ proven radio sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• You can provide customers with a great sales experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
