We're partnering with a well-established engineering and professional services firm seeking a

Senior Financial Analyst

to help support and expand its FP&A capabilities. This highly visible role will work closely with finance leadership and operational teams, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, advanced reporting capabilities, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

What You'll Do

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Develop financial models, revenue projections, and scenario analyses to support business decisions
• Perform financial and variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Partner with project and operational leaders to provide financial insights and decision support
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive presentations
• Analyze business performance, project financials, workload, and profitability
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data integrity, and financial systems
• Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• Experience in corporate FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills
• Experience partnering with operational, project, or business leaders
• Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard development and data visualization
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems aptitude
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights
• Experience in professional services, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or another project-based environment is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $110,000–$135,000 base salary, with flexibility for the right candidate
• 10% target bonus
• 10% profit-sharing contribution
