Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Azure resources, deploying containerized API services, automating deployments, and supporting production releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure, including AKS, Azure Container Registry, VNets, Key Vault, and storage accounts.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep.
• Implement security controls, RBAC, managed identities, and secrets management.
• Monitor applications and troubleshoot deployment, networking, and performance issues.
• Execute production releases, validate deployments, and maintain rollback procedures.
• Support Azure Cosmos DB operations, including container creation, indexing, and RU allocation.
• Collaborate with development, security, architecture, and operations teams.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience with YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Terraform or Bicep.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, Key Vault, RBAC, and managed identities.
• Experience with production monitoring, troubleshooting, and release management.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Administration, Azure DevOps, or Kubernetes certifications.
• Experience with GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana, and progressive deployment strategies.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and Continuous Delivery practices.
