Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab (IRF) position requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of rehab or inpatient experience.

Details

• 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with all private rooms and a current census of 35
• Patient population includes spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, and complex wound care cases for adults 18+
• Cares for isolation patients and patients requiring restraints, with an average patient stay of 12 days
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 6 months in rehab or inpatient setting
• Closed-toed shoes required
• Short, natural nails required (no acrylics)

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care within an intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation program
• Navy blue scrubs preferred for RNs though not mandatory
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
