Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact, required
• Minimum two years of RN experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association, not expiring prior to start
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care including health teaching and counseling
• Provide therapy and treatment, supervise or delegate to others, and refer patients as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
