About this role
Do you want to help build some of the largest and most consequential enterprise and customer technology systems in the world? Join Apple’s Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization. IS&T is the engine behind everything Apple does for customers and for the people who build for them.
It’s Apple’s central nervous system. Supporting 2.5 billion active Apple devices, processing billions of secure transactions, and keeping the technology that defines modern life running flawlessly, IS&T makes the impossible feel effortless.”
Do you love building solutions to handle global complexity and immense scale? Imagine what you could do here.
Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations — managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including our Apple Retail Stores. From an individual store to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question.
As a Retail Network Engineer, you will be part of a team focused on enabling experiences for Apple employees and our customers in Apple Stores all around the world. Our team works across Apple to ensure the network provides fast, reliable and secure connectivity powering critical functions such as point-of-sale, Genius Bar service, product demonstration, and more.
In this role you will take business and design requirements and turn them into fully featured network designs for Apple Retail stores. You will evaluate business needs, store design and layout, and network operational standards to develop a complete network solution.
You will collaborate with business teams, real estate teams, design and development managers, project managers and network engineers across multiple disciplines to procure, deploy and configure the network. A successful candidate will combine network expertise, troubleshooting skill, excellent judgment and strong communication of complex ideas to technical and leadership audiences.
