About this role

Salesforce is looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded Event Manager to join our Solutions Marketing Events team, focused on the Customer Success and Professional Services businesses. In this role, you'll play a key part in planning and executing high-impact strategic events, ensuring every detail is managed with precision — from pre-event communications and logistics to post-event reporting and impact analysis.

You will use AI tools to drive scale and automation.

If you’re an AI-first problem solver who pairs operational excellence with data-driven insights to elevate events, this role is for you.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Strategic Events to ensure that Salesforce events are best in class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the World Tour presence for Customer Success and Professional Services businesses, including pre-event logistics and communications, content operations, leader integration into customer meetings and programs, and post-event impact reporting.
  • Partner with the Salesforce Innovation Center team to lead the meeting strategy for Customer Success and Professional Services leaders. Maintain discussion leader rosters, track meeting performance, and prepare executive stakeholders for speaking engagements, customer meetings, and hosting duties.
  • Staff in-person events and perform tasks such as event attendee registration and check-in, staffer coordination, management of onsite vendors, and venue setup and teardown
  • Build and maintain event performance reports using Salesforce, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Provide timely post-event analysis, highlighting performance against KPIs, documenting best practices, and opportunities to improve.
  • Determine high-value account selection criteria and manage communication with business stakeholders while designing the rule-based validation and automated nomination tracking.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and project timelines to keep all workstreams on track.
  • Support centralized tools and systems for event planning, communication, and reporting.
  • Provide responsive, high-touch support to attendees during in-person events, ensuring a seamless experience and quickly resolving on-site issues.
  • Leverage AI tools to write impactful communications.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in event marketing or operations, with a proven track record of integrating AI tools to streamline workflows.
  • Data & Analytics: Proficiency in Salesforce and Google Sheets (formulas/pivots), including experience using AI-driven data analysis to identify trends or automate reporting.
  • Visual Storytelling: Expertise in Google Slides; ability to use generative AI tools to enhance visual assets and translate complex data into executive-ready presentations.
  • Operational Efficiency: An AI-first mindset with the ability to identify and implement automations for repetitive tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with experience using AI Tools to draft, refine, and scale personalized communications.
  • Mindset: A clear, confident communicator with a customer-first mindset, a bias toward action, and a natural curiosity for emerging tech.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale corporate or B2B events
  • Familiarity with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash, or similar)
  • Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced corporate environment
