About this role

Overview Microsoft is seeking a Technical Advisor to the Corporate Vice President (CVP), Copilot Marketing, to help turn product innovation into credible customer proof at the highest-visibility moments.

Based in the Copilot Marketing Demo Team, this individual contributor role combines a trusted advisory relationship with the CVP and hands-on ownership of demos and content for executive keynotes, presentations, and customer engagements.

The Technical Advisor will bring technical credibility and customer-first storytelling to executive engagements across Microsoft 365 and Copilot, grounding every story in real commercial customer workflows that build understanding, preference, and adoption.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CVP, Copilot Marketing. Provide clear, decision-ready insight on product readiness, narrative and demo priorities, and cross-team dependencies, and drive follow-through on key initiatives.
  • Support executive engagements end to end, including keynotes, customer and partner briefings, and internal leadership forums. Shape the content, talking points, and demos so each engagement lands a clear story for its audience.
  • Own the end-to-end demo experience for executive keynotes, presentations, and customer engagements, including scenario selection, flow, sequencing, testing, troubleshooting, and rehearsal.
  • Translate product innovation into compelling demo narratives tailored to the audience and integrated into the broader executive presentation story, grounded in authentic customer scenarios that show clear business value.
  • Build and maintain demo scripts, prompts, flows, simulations, and supporting assets. Curate data, set up environments with their owners, and validate product User Interface (UI), permissions, prerequisites, and repeatability so every demo is tested, current, and ready for executive delivery.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to validate demo experiences, stay current on product innovation, resolve technical issues, and bring the latest capabilities into executive demos. Share customer and executive feedback to inform the product roadmap.
  • Contribute the Demo team and Tier 1 moments, and adapt executive demos into reusable assets, scripts, and guidance that field sellers and partners can deliver at scale.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across marketing, product, engineering, creative, event, field, and vendor teams through clear communication, timely reviews, and shared decisions, leading through influence rather than formal authority.
  • Define scope, timelines, dependencies, and approvers for each executive engagement and escalate readiness risks early. Use AI, code, and automation to raise speed and quality while validating accuracy and repeatability.
  • Embody our Culture and Values
