Overview Microsoft is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to help shape how we build, operate, and scale AI-powered digital experiences. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, customer experience, and technology, and is focused on making Microsoft's web ecosystem faster, more automated, and more efficient to run.
As part of the Web Operations organization, you will run cross-functional programs across content, web platforms, and AI-powered workflows. You will partner closely with Marketing, UX, Design, Brand, Engineering, and Product teams to turn business requirements into scalable, operational solutions that hold up at enterprise scale.
We are looking for a technically fluent program manager with experience in AI, prompt engineering, agent-based technologies, and modern Microsoft AI platforms — someone who can apply those capabilities to real operational problems and deliver measurable efficiency gains.

Responsibilities
AI-Powered Operations
- Drive adoption of AI-powered solutions that improve content workflows, operational efficiency, and digital experience delivery.
- Build with Microsoft AI technologies including Copilot Studio, Scout, Microsoft Copilot experiences, and AI agents.
- Design, test, and optimize prompts, prompt libraries, and agent workflows that produce repeatable outcomes at scale.
- Identify where AI can automate or augment existing operational processes across web and marketing.
- Establish practices for responsible and effective use of AI within the team.
Web Platform and Content Operations
- Own programs that improve the delivery, scalability, and performance of Microsoft's customer-facing web experiences.
- Drive operational success across content publishing, authoring, governance, and platform workflows.
- Partner with UX, Design, Brand, Accessibility, and Content teams to deliver experiences aligned to customer and business goals.
- Work with engineering to land platform enhancements, service integrations, and new digital capabilities.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and execution across multiple workstreams and partner organizations.
Self-Serve Enablement
- Advance the Frontier Marketer self-serve model, expanding what business teams can author and publish directly in AEM while the web team retains oversight of high-impact changes.
- Partner with platform teams on the access controls and publishing workflows that make self-authoring safe at enterprise scale.
- Monitor adoption, publish volume, and quality signals, and use them to expand or tighten self-serve scope over time.
Connected Digital Experiences
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to support experiences powered by APIs, pricing services, product data services, personalization, and enterprise systems.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that balance customer experience, maintainability, and scale.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization across web operations and platform investments.
- Create clarity in ambiguous situations, build trusted partnerships, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Communicate program health, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Work with analytics partners to ensure the right tagging and telemetry are in place to support program measurement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- • OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving digital transformation, platform adoption, and operational success initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft AI technologies (Copilot Studio, Scout, AI agents, and/or Microsoft Copilot experiences), prompt engineering, and agent-based experiences.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) authoring, publishing, component configuration, and content operations.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale web experiences through APIs, personalization, pricing services, product data integrations, and digital platform architectures.
- Experience with Workfront, Marketo, Adobe Experience Platform, and/or comparable MarTech solutions.
- Experience with accessibility, SEO, and content governance practices.
- Experience running complex cross-functional programs spanning business, engineering, and marketing stakeholders.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U. S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
