Job description

About this role

Overview Want to help build the infrastructure that powers Azure in the age of Generative AI? The Azure Host and Infrastructure Product Management team defines and delivers the foundational compute infrastructure that powers Azure's diverse portfolio of workloads, from general-purpose virtual machines and enterprise applications to large-scale AI training, inference, and emerging agentic services.

We work across the full stack, spanning silicon, hardware systems, platform software, virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud services to shape the future of Azure infrastructure. Our mission is to deliver secure, reliable, high-performance, and cost-efficient compute platforms that customers trust for their most critical workloads.

We partner closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to transform new technologies into scalable cloud offerings that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and Azure's competitive position.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive strategic initiatives across Azure Host and Azure Boost platforms. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software innovation, helping define the next generation of cloud infrastructure for both traditional and AI-driven workloads. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth, systems thinking, and exceptional execution skills.

You are comfortable operating at the hardware/software boundary, using data and AI-powered insights to drive decisions, and communicating complex topics through clear, executive-ready narratives. You thrive in ambiguous environments, influence across organizational boundaries, and have a track record of delivering large-scale technical outcomes that create lasting customer and business impact.

You will lead complex cross-functional programs from early concept and architecture through deployment and fleet-scale operation.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end program execution: lead planning, coordination, and delivery for complex Azure Compute and infrastructure initiatives across multiple teams
  • Shape product direction: define goals, priorities, and roadmaps informed by customer feedback, business needs, and data-driven insights
  • Partner across engineering: collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to evaluate tradeoffs, resolve dependencies, and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Apply AI and data-driven insights: leverage modern AI tools, telemetry, and analytics to improve decision-making, accelerate execution, and identify opportunities for customer and operational improvements
  • Drive alignment and transparency: foster effective collaboration through clear goals, structured execution, proactive stakeholder engagement, and consistent progress tracking
  • Engage customers and stakeholders: gather feedback, validate requirements, and help shape product investments that improve customer experiences and platform competitiveness. Communicate with clarity by creating executive-ready reviews, presentations, and written communications that translate complex technical topics into clear recommendations and actions
