Job Details

Job Description:

We are building our Robotics & Physical AI business across EMEA and are looking for an entrepreneurial business leader to help shape and accelerate its growth.

This is not a role for someone looking after an existing customer base. It is a true hunting opportunity focused on creating markets, opening new accounts, building strategic partnerships, and driving adoption of Robotics and Physical AI solutions across the region.

You will own the EMEA go-to-market strategy, identify and develop net-new opportunities, and bring together an ecosystem of hardware vendors, ODMs, OEMs, ISVs, and system integrators to deliver compelling end-to-end solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep robotics expertise with strong commercial acumen. You should be equally comfortable discussing robotics architectures, AI software stacks, sensors, and compute platforms with engineering teams as presenting business value and growth strategies to executive stakeholders.

You are passionate about robotics and physical AI, understand the EMEA landscape, and possess an established network that you can activate from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the EMEA go-to-market strategy for Robotics and Physical AI, driving market development, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
  • Identify, develop, and close net-new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement.
  • Build and orchestrate a strong ecosystem of hardware vendors, ODMs, OEMs, ISVs, and solution partners, creating joint go-to-market initiatives and integrated customer solutions.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements from initial customer conversations through technical validation, commercial negotiations, and successful closure.
  • Drive business development and marketing activities including industry events, thought leadership initiatives, campaigns, and demand generation programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by translating technical requirements into tangible business outcomes and commercial value.
  • Represent the company at customer executive briefings, partner forums, and major industry conferences across EMEA.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 10+ years in sales, business development, and strategic partner alliances roles across the tech industry.
  • 5+ years of directly relevant robotics experience - in business development, sales, solutions, or product roles within robotics, automation, or physical AI. General tech sales without robotics depth will not qualify.
  • Demonstrable technical fluency in robotics/physical AI systems - able to hold your own on architecture, hardware, sensors, compute, and software stacks with engineering audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with AI software architectures in robotics - including perception (vision), motion planning and control, and integration of AI models into real-world robotic systems and software stacks.
  • Proven ecosystem connectivity across hardware, ODM, OEM, ISV, and integration partners - with a verifiable personal network in EMEA you can activate immediately.
  • Track record of large, complex programs - multi-stakeholder, long-cycle, high-value designs, or initiatives you personally led to closure.
  • Experience building and executing go-to-market plans and opening net-new accounts and opportunities.
  • Experience executing marketing and business development initiatives (events, campaigns, demand generation).
  • Experience operating inside a corporation - navigating matrixed organizations, internal stakeholders, and structured processes.
  • Exceptional communicator - executive presence in front of both C-level customers and technical teams.
  • Genuine passion for technology - robotics and physical AI in particular.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across EMEA, up to 25 per cent of the time, for customer meetings, partner visits, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with edge computing, AI infrastructure, and semiconductor/compute platforms underpinning robotics.
  • Prior experience standing up a new business, region, or product line from early stage.
  • Established relationships with industrial and manufacturing end-customers deploying robotics at scale.
  • Experience with both startup/scale-up agility and large-enterprise.
  • Native German speaker or German at C1 level or higher (fluent, professional working proficiency).
  • Experience across multiple EMEA sub-regions and additional language proficiency
