At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, dynamic, and multicultural environment, leveraging modern technologies and AI-driven development practices.

Position Overview As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to technical decisions, integrate external services, and ensure high-quality solutions aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, connecting applications with external systems and services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to technical discussions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members in an agile and multicultural environment.
• Required Skills and Qualifications Must-have Skills: Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and external services.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Proficiency in English, both speaking and reading, to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
• Desired Skills and Qualifications Nice-to-have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with AI Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted software development practices.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Ability to contribute to technical discussions and support knowledge sharing within the team.
